New EP 'Five Songs From New Orleans' Out Nov 15
Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to spend a month living in New Orleans, and I was so inspired by the city that I wrote and recorded an entire EP with an amazing cast of local musicians. The collection is called 'Five Songs From New Orleans,' and the whole thing was recorded in the living room of a gorgeous old 1800's house using only acoustic instruments (guitar, upright bass, fiddle, clarinet, cello, and washboard).
I'm thrilled to announce that starting today, you can pre-order the EP in both digital and physical forms along with a whole bunch of exclusive, personalized bonus goodies, like handwritten lyrics, vintage postcards, new t-shirts, and fine art photography prints. Grab yours now to ensure early access to the music!
I'm also thrilled to announce that we'll be celebrating the EP with a special hometown release show Nov 13 at Rockwood Music Hall in New York City! I've put together a killer new band especially for this gig, and we'll be performing all of the New Orleans material PLUS re-imagining a whole bunch of your favorites, too. Tickets go on-sale today, and after this summer's Rockwood sell-out, I highly recommend you snag yours in advance.
Over the coming days and weeks, we'll be sharing previews of the music, giving you an inside like at Quiet Creature's gorgeous linocut artwork, and announcing additional tour dates, so if you're not already following me on Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook, get on it now so you can stay in the loop!
In the meantime, if you've got any song requests for the release show or have special package requests for the pre-order, we want to hear from you! None of this is possible without your support and enthusiasm, so spread the word, invite your friends, and get excited. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and I can't wait to see you all again real soon!
