Anthony D'Amato sings and writes in the tradition of Bruce Springsteen or Josh Ritter: His songs sound friendly musically, but they also tackle the difficult and the twisted. Like those great songwriters, D'Amato's work is universal without devolving into moping. Rapidly rising singer-songwriter Anthony D'Amato got an early musical start, studying piano at age six. The New Jersey native recorded his debut album, "Down Wires," in his Princeton University dorm room and never looked back. He released two more collections, including the highly-regarded "Shipwreck from Shore" in 2014.
